I just wonder whether the 96% of under 100 bucks a months writers will stick, since another function of Medium is being a writers academy for starters, that still need to learn the skills and make peanuts on this platform, almost not worth the investment.

Top writers on Medium can have great ideas that suit their interest best, to scale even more, but they tend to forget that the Medium content pyramid is build by its 174.000 slaves, the good faith people writing for pennies.

That's a lot of small stocks value, but it might work, I support the core idea, social non-predatory capitalism, where everybody benefits.., sadly, the world is playing out its opposite game of absolute power for the 1%. at the moment I believe this will self-destruct soon and the movement of decentralization, thus web3.0, will thrive.

There doesn't need to be a middlemen media platform in that reality anymore, just smart devs that built apps where writers meet their followers, permissionless. Its already happening on Bitclout.
