I do believe the corporate world has captured the politicians and they now make their own decisions through these puppets, which means low or non tax, and a strategy that , simply put:

Is directed Against the people

At the end of the day, the core message of my piece is that people should not pay any longer for a system that runs on its last legs,

We are facing a 6th extinction event, and renewables made by fossil maybe wont change this, I have no clue what will

Its because of the perverse invcentives, including those of the energy industrial complex, and narratives that always seem to need wars

Sorry to say, but this crisis is mostly instigated by the U.S to keep Europe and its citizens in check and energy depended to a hegemonic power that is experiencing its rise before the fall

Russia isn't much better, we should end the binary thinking, we get nowhere doing that, just more polarization

Still,

I invite anybody who believes that Russia is so bad to look into the 50 proxy wars that the US started and almost always led to the destruction of these countries, in the name of democracy, with thousands of innocent people killed, so elite companies get trillion dollar contracts to build up these countries again.. most of the time companies directly owned or heavily invested in by the Bush family ( just one example)

or what about the dutch Government and many more speculating on natural gas prices and making billions with each 10% price hike, that they themself manipulated through their mandated policies? its completely corrupt and beyond repair as it seems,

The energy-wende is just another distraction to the real perverse incentives and predatory systems that are underlying our current dying systems, they are parasitical entities sucking the last wealth out of the earth while still pushing the harm ( 1 degree colder in Italy, and that's just the beginning, and more tax ) on our shoulders

The solution is moving beyond the great divide, and work from unity
