Locally produced organic food. Sharing circles for emotional safety and support. Creating a small-scale blueprint for a better future society. Having the time of your life with like-minded peers.
What possibly could go wrong?
Well, what about waking up the next morning to find out you married a sociopath? I mean, get real. Which sane person wants to go and live intimately with people they’ve never met?
This thought is very real for me at the moment after a community member freaked out this morning. And it wasn’t his first time.
Honestly, I know somewhere in my heart that the community model is possible. I just haven’t experienced it yet as I envision it.
But there is still hope and time.
These are three community traps you need to be aware of before jumping into the community adventure.
